Plus size shapewear is my everyday comfort

Plus size shapewear, for me, was a discovery that changed my outlook and changed my life. Beauty standards have been getting better in recent years at recognizing the many different shapes of beauty, but seeing a plus size model on my phone and the odd reminder to love myself for who I am didn’t help me feel more comfortable at my son’s soccer game or in the grocery store. The day did not come for me to truly feel comfortable, empowered and confident until I put on a plus size shapewear bodysuit and it felt like a second skin. Shapewear for plus size women was harder to come by a decade ago. Larger sizes were typically restricted to a plus size girdle, and you would be lucky to find any plus size shapewear in other designs such as panties, camisoles or a plus size waist trainer.

I was so happy when online shopping took off. I have kids and a home and a job and not a lot of time to spare. So, I really appreciate efficient solutions. I was able to shop a huge number of brands and styles and zero in on plus size shapewear in all kinds of different styles. All day comfort and confidence

When I first put it on, I wore it the entire day. I didn’t really want to take it off! I felt firm and fit for the first time in a long time. It even helped with my posture, making me feel more poised and content. It is a weird thing to consider, but when you feel physically capable, you simply feel more confident in general. I could totally see the link between how I felt physically and how I felt emotionally. When I wear my comfortable shapewear, I feel a wonderful combination of assertiveness and femininity. I feel really good in my own skin.

To be clear though, I am not one to try to conform to society’s unrealistic standards; I am simply celebrating myself in my plus size shapewear. I wear it every day.
